Indications/Uses
For dietary management of lactose intolerance, for special medical purposes in infant 0-6 mth.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Reconstitution: 1 level scoop (8.3 cc) to 30 mL water. Infant ≥12 wk 5 scoops to 150 mL cooled, boiled water given 5 times daily, 8-12 wk 5 scoops to 150 mL cooled, boiled water given 5 times daily, 4-8 wk 4 scoops to 120 mL cooled, boiled water given 5-6 times daily, 4 wk 3 scoops to 90 mL cooled, boiled water given 6-7 times daily.
Contraindications
Not to be used by infants w/ galactosemia. Not for parenteral administration. Not intended as sole source of nutrition.
Special Precautions
Infant <4 wk. Not to be fed for premature infant or infants who might have immune problems.
